Brussel, 12 juni 2023 – De internationale BRAFA Art Fair luidt van 28 januari t\/m 4 februari 2024 traditiegetrouw het nieuwe jaar van de kunstmarkt in. Acht dagen lang strijken 130 exposanten uit heel Europa en daarbuiten in de vaste locatie Brussels Expo neer. Met ongeveer 20 specialismen, van klassieke Afrikaanse en Oosterse kunst tot en met hedendaags design, biedt BRAFA een bijzonder ruime keuze aan verzamelgebieden. www.brafa.art<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Wereldwijd geldt BRAFA als een van de vijf toonaangevende kunst- en antiekbeurzen. Met een lange geschiedenis die teruggaat tot 1956, is de beurs erin geslaagd een streng selectiebeleid voor deelnemers en een strikte controle op authenticiteit, kwaliteit en conditie van de tienduizend tot vijftienduizend tentoongestelde kunstobjecten te verankeren. Een inspirerend bezoek aan de beurs wordt ieder jaar gewaarborgd door een uniek decor, de gastvrije sfeer en elegante, ruime opzet. Geliefd is de verfrissende mix van presentaties van specialismen, die kruisverbanden mogelijk maakt en eclectisch verzamelen een impuls geeft. Zo wisselen bijzondere stands met antieke meubels, moderne schilderijen, hedendaagse kunst en design, antieke sculpturen en kunstvoorwerpen uit de Middeleeuwen, maar ook keramiek, textiel, zeldzame boeken, sieraden en Afrikaanse kunst elkaar af. Onder de geselecteerde exposanten bevinden zich eveneens vooraanstaande Nederlandse kunsthandelaren en galeries.<\/p>\n

Programmering<\/strong>
\nTot het vaste programma van de beurs behoren de BRAFA Art Talks, een reeks lezingen die door curatoren, experts en andere persoonlijkheden uit de internationale kunstwereld wordt gegeven. De Koning Boudewijnstichting is ieder jaar te gast met een thematentoonstelling en de BRAFA Art Tours zorgen middels priv\u00e9-rondleidingen voor verdieping op maat. Een nader bekend te maken thema vormt de rode draad voor een uitgebreid randprogramma.<\/p>\n
